Funded through Health Canada's Substance Use and Addictions Program, #KnowWhatImpairedMean is a public awareness campaign aiming to educate Canadians aged 15 to 24 that cannabis impairs a person’s ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, by reaching our target audience in a unique way.


Who this webinar is for

This webinar is aimed at all professionals for whom the prevention of impaired driving and its consequences is relevant to their work. This includes, but is not limited to, professionals in public health, injury prevention, substance use, enforcement, education, road safety, and health care.


Learning objectives

Through this webinar, participants will:

  • learn about ways to reach the target demographic: Cannabis users aged 15-24;

  • understand the core components and key messages of the #KnowWhatImpairedMeans campaign; and,

  • be aware of the resources and opportunities available to amplify the campaign, with a focus on National Teen Driver Safety Week.
